Restaurant Review - La Table d'Uzes

La Table d'Uzes restaurant

Located in the centre of Uzes in the Gard is a magnificient 300 year old mansion house and historical monument that has been beautifully restored with great taste and style, turning it into a luxury hotel and spa. Its restaurant and young chef, Oscar Garcia, were recently awarded a Michelin star.

According to client reviews, the Michelin star is richly deserved as the dining experience leaves nothing to disappoint. The cooking is wonderful, delicate, fresh, imaginative, delightful and beautifully presented. The service is impeccable.

There is a stylish restaurant inside and a delightful pebble courtyard with low lighting for dining outdoors. The quiet setting away from the busy streets adds to its charm.

There is a weekday lunch set menu which is excellent value for money and includes a glass of regional wine.

The restaurant is closed Sunday night and Monday and opens for lunch from 12 noon to 2pm and for dinner from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Combine a meal out with a stay in one of their sumptuous bedrooms reached via the beautiful 17th Century stone staircase.
